Mary and I went to see Dad last Saturday. He was sitting outside his room in his geri-chair and seemed to be in a pretty good mood. It's funny, I don't know if he actually recognized us, but he did give us a wave when we arrived. He's looking healthy and his appetite is good. And it's very entertaining to listen to him talk, though sometimes he starts a thought but never finishes, and then is just on to the next one.

Dad's condition seems to be pretty much the same as I last saw him. Holly and I went up Sunday and spent the morning there. He talked a great deal about Mel Lastman... We went for a walk down the halls and sat by a sunny window for a while. He "read" the paper for a while, and after we took him back, he seemed ready for us to leave. Mom arrived just as we were leaving.
